Surgeon Dr. Sevtap Alkan graduated from Dicle University Faculty of Medicine in 1991. Then, she completed a five-year residency in the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at Cerrahpaşa Faculty of Medicine. During her specialization, she conducted research and prepared a thesis on menopause and hormonal replacement therapy.

As part of her research, she conducted data studies at the Mayo Clinic in the United States and also participated in research at Johns Hopkins University. Upon her return to Turkey, Surgeon Dr. Sevtap Alkan published a book based on her research and studies.

In 2002, she started working as an Obstetrics and Gynecology specialist at Acıbadem Hospitals Group. Following her tenure at Acıbadem Hospitals Group, she continued to practice her profession in several other hospitals.

Currently, surgeon Dr. Sevtap Alkan is working as an Obstetrics and Gynecology specialist at Yaman Surgical Medical Center. She continues to perform surgeries to treat diseases in the field of obstetrics and gynecology at Yaman Surgical Medical Center. Moreover, surgeon Dr. Sevtap Alkan maintains her successful practice in genital aesthetic surgeries.
